Thanks to Terry Luxton for the pictures of ‘JC and the one man band’ (aka John Carter) on stage.
To all of you who saw the performance, just think you will be able to tell your grand-kids you were there!

Last Night Party
Last night saw the closing party for the 2005 Tiree Wave Classic.
The evening kicked off with Julian Da Vall presenting the individual discipline and overall prizes in each category (with over 70 podium places that’s quite a lot of prizes to give out), before finally presenting the outright winner John Skye with the 2005 Tiree […]

Wave Classic closing party
Tonight sees the Wave Classic closing party at Tiree’s community centre An Talla.
There will be a formal presentation of competition prizes (well probably not that formal) followed by Tiree’s very own up and coming rock band The Defenders playing classic tunes from across the decades and finishing off the night in traditional Tiree style there […]
Tiree Wave Classic Crew
You can’t hold a windsurfing competition as great as the Tiree Wave Classic without the best sailors, but also you can’t do it without the people behind the scenes either.
The Gul boys and girls of the 2005 Tiree Wave Classic crew deserve special thanks for the hard work they’ve put in to make the competition […]
Youth and Junior SuperX report from Boardseeker

Spectacular, if controversial, action from the Pros in the morning heightened the tension and by the time Duncan Coombs had briefed them on the course they […]
Boardseeker Beach Report – Day 6
Speed, Bruises, Cuts, Injuries and a Jumping Competition
Cruising past Gott Bay this morning the wind was marginal. 11.00am it kicked in windy with driving rain and flat. Out of all the disciplines, they went for Super X, this time with a full on downwind course, three duck gybes, three sausages, 2 forward loops and a […]
Supercross at Gott and Jumps at Crossapol
After a quiet Wednesday, Thursday was an intense day of competition.
The conditions were fairly light in the morning so another Supercross round was completed at Gott Bay. During the second Supercross round of the day, the conditions picked up on the South side of the Island, so the sailors were keen to get over to […]
Wave Classic CalMac Day Tour
Over 100 people came over to Tiree for the day to get six hours of competition, culture and general Wave Classic experience. Buses transported people around the island to visit craft shops, art galleries and the competition itself. Not bad for a tenner all in.
Everyone was tired, but happy by the end of the day […]
