Continuing light winds today meant that official events have been replaced by a long distance race at Gott Bay.
A fleet of Corona Extra race boards competed over the 3-mile course the first leg of which was almost directly into the wind. Even in the light conditions the racers impressed the crowds with their turn of speed with John Hibbard taking the eventual honours.
The good news it that the weather forecast for the week ahead is predicting an increase in wind strength from the 8 knots recorded this morning to winds of 26 knots by Thursday.
Bring it on!
